The capital city of Hungary has many places of interest up its sleeve. Travel reports are especially fulsome in their praise of the Fishermen’s Bastion and the view from Gellértberg, with its citadel. Another unusual attraction is the Liberty Statue. Visit one of the many thermal baths that are fed by springs in the city area and were in use in the days of the Romans. Budapest also has a long tradition of coffee houses. According to many, Café Gerbeaud is the most elegant and beautiful coffee house in the whole of Europe. As well as countless places of interest, the city also has plenty of musical offerings, like the Sziget Festival held in the summer.
